Located in the Far North, our sheep are selected to cope with harsh hot summers and wet winters.
Our flock is early shedding with ultra short hair/fleece so reducing the risk of flystrike. We select for parasite resistance and drench only when required Our stock have been sourced from the very best Wiltshire stud bloodlines. Rams of Morrison, Strickland and Arvidson breeding and ewes from West Country and Muriwai Valley have been added to our foundation flock from Z-Ritsons. We breed to the Standard and select for production and health traits Lambing percentages average 200% with minimal losses. Our lambs average around 400g per day weight gain We test regularly for both Brucellosis and Johnes. All testing has been negative Our ewe lambs are reserved We have a small number of elite ram lambs available |
